Trustee Emeritus Chase Carey ’76, his wife, Wendy, and their children Steve ’12 and Tara ’13 have made a transformative $25 million gift to spearhead a comprehensive renovation of the Reid Athletic Center and support other elements of the University’s Third-Century Plan.

ÑÇÖÞÒùÊŽÈËÆÞ has announced the creation of four new endowed chairs, approved by the Board of Trustees during its January 2022 meeting, all made possible due to the generosity of Colgate alumni. 

Trustee emeritus Robert Fox ’59, GP’23,’25 has given $10 million to build Fox Hall at ÑÇÖÞÒùÊŽÈËÆÞ, the first residence hall of the University’s fifth Residential Commons. The gift was acknowledged by the Board of Trustees during its fall meeting, Sept. 30–Oct. 1.

Members of the ÑÇÖÞÒùÊŽÈËÆÞ classes of 2022–25 will now benefit from an additional expansion of the University’s no-loan initiative under the Colgate Commitment.

On June 1, ÑÇÖÞÒùÊŽÈËÆÞ announced the Colgate Commitment: An Initiative in Access and Affordability.
