The Poetry Machine is making its way around ÑÇÖÞÒùÊŽÈËÆÞ and Hamilton, N.Y., thanks to Colgate’s Upstate Institute and the University Libraries in partnership with the Adirondack Center for Writing.

As part of the 2024 cohort of Summer Field School Fellows, Mary Thomas Powell ’26 and Charlie Tourbaf ’25 are conducting hands-on environmental research.

History major Ray Zhang ’24, from Ningbo, China, describes his summer assessing the satisfaction of visitors to a new exhibit at Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake.

Out of more than 200 students involved with research this summer, 33 are conducting projects under the auspices of the Upstate Institute.
